All private national schools under the Utama Schools Group adhere to the  Malaysian National Curriculum as set by the Malaysian Ministry of Education. Sekolah Sri Utama develops students to be independent, self-motivated learners and critical thinkers.

Enhanced Syllabus
The school’s curriculum for English, Mathematics and Science is further enhanced through the integration of key elements from the Cambridge International Curriculum.

Language and Literacy
Although the medium of instruction is Bahasa Malaysia, Sekolah Sri Utama places equal emphasis on developing students’ proficiency in spoken and written English. Both English and Bahasa Malaysia are compulsory subjects across all Primary and Secondary year levels.

Balanced Education
Sekolah Sri Utama offers a broad array of co-curricular activities, incorporating various sports, academic and non-academic activities and uniform units. All activities are designed to enrich and strengthen student‘s learning, ensuring that your child receives a balanced and well-rounded education.

Dual Language Programme (DLP)
In accordance with the Ministry of Education’s “Empowering Bahasa Malaysia and Strengthening English” policy, the Dual Language Programme (DLP) was initiated at selected Malaysian primary and secondary national/ private schools in 2016. A total of 300 schools across Malaysia, including Sekolah Sri Utama, are now qualified to offer the DLP pilot programme.

This programme enables Sekolah Sri Utama to offer Science and Mathematics with English as the medium of instruction. This programme is currently being offered to Primary 1, Primary 4, and Form 1 students (selected campuses). The DLP programme provides students with the opportunity to enhance their English language proficiency.

Sekolah Sri Utama offers Primary and Secondary school curricula that prepares students for Malaysian National School examinations including Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR), Pentaksiran Tingkatan 3 (PT3) and Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM). Students also benefit from engagement in a variety of enhanced learning experiences.
